What am I supposed to write?

Sometimes I just don't know what to write. I love reading every one's blogs, but often feel like I don't really have anything exciting to say. BUT, I decided to give it a try anyways! Things have been going pretty well here in Utah.

The first two months were awful as Sam was on call almost every other night. But this month has been bliss, radiology. Are you sure you don't want to go into that Sam?! We have got to eat dinner as a family, go on family walks, and enjoy sacrament meeting together (meaning Sam is able to help with a rambunctious 2 year old).

We are in a great little community and I have already met some great friends. Josie has a new best friend (although she still talks about her Seattle friend Gabriella) and we have enjoyed weekly zoo, museum, and park trips.

I LOVE having my sister only 7 miles away, and it has been a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better. She is ten years older than me and I really don't remember her much growing up, and we have never lived close before. We have done fun sisterly activities like lunch, shopping, etc. It has been so fun to get to know her more as a friend.

We have also enjoyed many visits home to grandparents and it is so great to be close. I has included some photos of our most recent trip home to Wyoming visiting Grandma and Grandpa's "farm".

Basically, my heart is very full! I truly feel like Sam and I are in the right place at the right time. It's amazing how things just "work out" and things fall into place at the right time.

Lisa!! Glad to finally hear from you, and see more pics. Josie is growing so big. I'm doing a 10-K in Oct. and a 1/2 marathon in Nov. Jake put the music on our blog. He used the website projectplayist.com. I've wanted to talk with you. What's your phone number?

Lisa--that was perfect! It is so nice to hear what is going on and how you are doing. I am glad it's a good place. Radiology is bliss--but we need docs of all kinds! You are a good woman. Andrea

That was great! Josie is sooo cute!

Yep Dean and I are still in WA. We live up in Everett right now as he works at the Boeing Everett Plant. We are expecting our first in February and are very excited for that. We are also currently in the process of applying for dental school which would start next fall so right now we are working on all the supplemental applications and hoping for offers to come for interviews soon.

I too often have a hard time coming up with what to write on my blog so you are not alone. But I too love reading about what everyone is up to. Hope all continues to go well for you guys!

We are in our 20th week and will be halfway done on Monday Oct 1st. I agree the technology and how quickly babies develop is just amazing!

I'm so glad to read an update - just when I think Josie couldn't possibly be any cuter she proves me wrong! I am so glad you're happy there in Utah and I truly admire the wives of doctors and medical students etc. Although Nathan works long hours, at least he isn't gone more than 12 hours at a time (usually)! Write more! I don't think blogs are meant to be that interesting or exciting so hopefully you don't feel pressure. It's fun to read ANYTHING about friends and what they are doing. :)

Lisa, I'm so glad you wrote! and did a great job. I feel the same way but I have Dave proof read everything because he is better at it than me, although he often tells me, its your blog it should be like you want it to be. Maybe I should stop asking when he's reading his scientific journals :-)
I'm glad you are having a great time in Utah. Keep us posted.

Hey Lis! I'm writing this comment hoping it will get to your e-mail. Since the old address I had for you doesn't work any more. I am starting to think that you are avoiding me!! I would like to chat, and see how things are going. Leave me contact info!!
